Choose a 27 inch 4K gaming monitor if you play story-driven titles, edit photos or video alongside gaming, or want a computer monitor that doubles as a high-resolution workspace. At 27 inches, 4K delivers 163 pixels per inch — dense enough that individual pixels disappear at a normal desk distance.
To drive 4K at high frame rates you'll want a recent graphics card (or a current-generation console via HDMI 2.1). If you mostly play fast competitive shooters on a mid-range GPU, a QHD or Full HD high refresh rate monitor may give you more frames per second for the money.
