Is 165Hz good for gaming?
Yes. 165Hz is 2.75× faster than a standard 60Hz monitor and delivers visibly smoother motion and lower input lag. It's the baseline refresh rate for every GAMEO gaming monitor.
What is the difference between 165Hz and 200Hz?
At 165Hz a new frame arrives every 6.1ms; at 200Hz every 5ms. The difference is subtle but perceptible for competitive players, and it only helps if your PC can render 200 frames per second in your game.
Does a high refresh rate monitor need a powerful PC?
To benefit fully, your PC needs to produce frame rates close to the monitor's refresh rate. Full HD monitors like the F24-200 and F27-180 are the easiest to drive at high frame rates; 4K needs a much stronger graphics card.
Do GAMEO monitors have 144Hz models?
No. The GAMEO range starts at 165Hz (Q24-165 and U27-165), with 180Hz (F27-180) and 200Hz (F24-200) options.
