GAMEO TECHNOLOGY

The engineering behind the image

Clear, technically accurate explanations of the display technology inside every GAMEO monitor. No invented benchmarks, no unsupported claims.

IPS DISPLAY

Every GAMEO monitor uses an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel. IPS technology keeps colours consistent and accurate across wide viewing angles — 89/89/89/89 on every GAMEO model — so the picture holds up whether you are centred or off to the side.

HIGH REFRESH RATE

The GAMEO range runs at 165Hz, 180Hz and 200Hz depending on model. A higher refresh rate updates the image more times per second, producing smoother motion when your PC or console can deliver matching frame rates.

1MS RESPONSE

Response time measures how quickly a pixel changes state. All four GAMEO monitors are rated at 1ms, reducing visible blur behind fast-moving objects. Overdrive (OD) is included across the range.

ADAPTIVE SYNC

Adaptive Sync (FreeSync) matches the monitor's refresh timing to the frames your system outputs, reducing screen tearing and stutter during gameplay. Supported on every GAMEO monitor.

HDR

HDR support allows GAMEO monitors to accept high-dynamic-range signals for an expanded contrast and colour experience with HDR content. HDR capability varies in effect by content and source device.

MPRT

MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) uses backlight techniques to reduce perceived motion blur in fast scenes. Available across the GAMEO range alongside standard 1ms response.

ERGONOMICS

Every GAMEO stand is a height-adjustable square-type HAS design: 110mm height travel on 24-inch models, 130mm on 27-inch models, with tilt from -5° to +20°, vertical rotation +90°/-90° and horizontal rotation +45°/-45°.

VESA MOUNTING

All GAMEO monitors support 100 × 100mm VESA mounting, so they attach to standard monitor arms and wall mounts for a cleaner, more flexible setup.

Expert-style guides using real GAMEO specifications — how to choose, which resolution, which size, which refresh rate, and what console players need.

INTERACTIVE

Refresh rate, visualised

Each bar completes one cycle per simulated update interval. A higher refresh rate redraws more often — when your system can feed it frames.

A higher refresh rate does not make anyone a better player by itself — it allows smoother, more frequent image updates when the connected system can deliver corresponding frame rates.

INTERACTIVE

Resolution, in proportion

FHD, QHD and 4K UHD draw the same scene with different pixel counts. More pixels means finer detail — and more work for your GPU. Neither is automatically right for everyone.
